Treat Dad to a live culture cocktail
Why not get him to put his feet up while you treat him to something equally invigorating & intoxicating, just like the live cocktail recipe we've created below - it take a smidge more effort than twisting the top off his favourite beer but we're pretty confident you'll reap the rewards. You can replace the orange rose with a simple orange twist if he's just too macho for flowers.
Use wild honey to help support the bee community
If you really want to supercharge your offering, use local wild honey for the apple-honey simple syrup (and continue to eat it on toast, yoghurt, to replace sugar in drinks etc); the bee community currently needs all the support we can give it and your Dad will benefit from the anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial & anti-oxidant properties of the honey, in particular any seasonal allergies he might have; it's a truly BEEutiful symbiotic relationship (#sorrynotsorry). If you need help locating local honey, there's a whole load of resources popping up online at the moment to help you source local beehives and suppliers, your local farmers market is always a great shout too.
Reap the benefits of your own Natural Remedy Cocktail
Combined with the live culture bacteria in our very own Agua de Madre water kefir for gut health and a happy microbiome it's a powerful combination, no messing around - in fact, you'd be forgiven for considering it an alternative medicine, and that's not something you can say about most cocktails!
Experiential Gifts are the way forward
For ultimate brownie points show him he's not too uncool for (kefir) school with a pair of tickets for a tour of Agua de Made The Casa (book here now) (there's one for you too!). Learn all about live cultures and the microbiome from a water kefir angle and take a large bottle home for cocktail making or drinking straight up.
